My girlfriend had vegetable curry, which was great as she is a vegetarian. My noodle soup however had nothing to do with thai food. There were no spices, and the vegetables didn't fit at all. I guess Bangor is far from Bangkok, but I'd rather wish the waiter had recommended something else than this attempt.

Very good food. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I had the vegetable Pad Thai today and it was excellent!

Thai Siam keeps us coming back because it's dependable and delicious. Don't you hate going to places that are great one day and a mess the next? Thai Siam stays on an even keel with good, fresh food. Well, I have to confess that in all the years we've been going there, we have yet to get past the appetizers, but if they are any indication of the rest of the extensive menu, you can't go wrong. The tom kha is the best coconut soup we've ever had -- very creamy with just the right touch of lime. Fresh Thai rolls, dumplings and ladyfingers (an egg roll wrapper wound around a shrimp and deep fried) are all full of complex Asian flavors. Usually we also order an unusual appetizer called "sweetie bittie" that is chopped peanuts, coconut, onion, basil and carrot in a sweet, limey sauce sitting on a piece of lettuce. It tickles your palate, but, alas, at our most recent visit, no sweetie bitty. So we tried the fried tofu. Wow! Crispy outside, creamy inside and tangy dipping sauce, as with all the appetizers. You're bound to find something you like at Thai Siam. Our only negative criticism is that the fresh Thai rolls could use more cilantro and perhaps the dipping sauce could be a bit spicier (you can ask for hot sauce on the side). Otherwise, good service in a space that some other reviewers have noted to be dingy. Maybe a little, but so what -- it's about the food.

It is located also, near a river. The traffic in the city is to be expected, but it was a friday late
afternoon, we still found lots of parking nearby!
The food was excellent, with just ample ambience, and great service, the wait staff was very
effecient and attentive. The Pad Thai that I seem to like, in this type of restaurant is excellent, very tasty, and my wife ordered Tufu and vegetable dish, and it was so tasty, as we did share
including the Thai fried rice dish! The size of the dishes are very generous, espacially if one is hungry! It was a warm, almost summer day, we just ordered ice water to go with the meal.
Travelling from Canada, we were an hour early for our usual dinner time! We forgot to put back one hour on the clock! We were surprised that we were the first people to seat in the restaurant, because of this!
The menu is extensive, and lots of choices. We sure would come back and sample the other dishes
in the near future trips in this area! Many shops and pubs around or near this Thai restaurant. Shopping after dinner seems very good for my wife, too!

This restaurant has not been remodeled forever. Decor is so heavy red and outdated, there is a stail smell in the air and it just gives an appearace of being dirty and outdated place. Was pleasantly surprised when food came, dumplings were good, duck soup ok. In general food was average, but passable.
