We have been going to Cook's for fifteen years but no more. Prices have been jacked up almost to the stratosphere. It has lost its touch. The menu is not as expansive, the atmosphere is not the same but most of all is the price. Not worth the price and the food quality is only average.

What more can I say about the seafood in Maine?? It is top of the line. Stews are full and creamy also.

I came to this resteraunt for the first time in September 2012. They service was excellent, place was busseling with life. Scenic view always A+. They bake their own rolls, and their Lemon Dill Salad Dressing just WOW. I had such a great experience I went again on December 23rd.

It was warm and cozy, with the wood burning stove blazing away. Deffinately a local favorite. Being out of season they use, "premaid" rolls and warm them, the specials were different and yet the food was still great. People need to understand, this resteraunt is a tourist attraction during the summer, when the winter comes, it is a local hangout and sportsbar in the back area. They need to be mindful of their inventory due to primarly locals keeping them open during the year. I would suggest visiting during the summer, or being mindful of their situaktion and enjoying it for what it was.

We were never rushed, Given as much time as needed to enjoy ourselves.

Expensive and has lost it's charm. The view is still nice though. Plenty of parking space and the cocktails are fancy. The service is OK but you get to feel like you're just another number and the faster you get out the better.

We go here often. The deck is great in the summer. In winter, the wood stove will keep you cozy. Decorated in "Old Authentic Maine Style" and located on the gorgeous Bailey Island, I would say it is well worth the visit. Famous for both steaks and of course, seafood.
