You would not be disappointed with this restaurant. We can only report on their lunch which menu was excellent. - we had the fish chowder and split the lobster quesadilla. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful Maine Caost. we understand it is very busy in the summer but in October it was quiet and very enjoyable.

We went to Bailey Island for our anniversary weekend. We got there to find that there are no ATMs on the island, so if you want to buy lobster at the wharf, bring cash. We stayed at the Sea Escape cottages and the owner recommended Giant Stairs or Morse's for dinner. We went to Morse's Cribstone Grill the first night and realized there were two parts...a "lobster shack" and a restaurant, both take credit cards cards. We ate dinner in the restaurant but had the lobster shack prepare 3 lobsters for us to make lobster salad the next day. They were reasonably priced. Uncooked-$4.50/lb and cooked-$5.50/lb. We liked the lobster shack so much, we went back the next night and had them prepare 5 lobsters (my husband has a big appetite) and 2 lbs of mixed steamers and little-necks (which were $5/lb cooked). The whole thing prepared was $44. The restaurant was GREAT, but we got half as much food for twice as much money. Because the cottage had a kitchen table and everything we needed, we will opt for Morse's lobster shack take-out next time we go to the island.

Wait staff were pleasant and friendly. Great bar to have a drink in while you wait for the lobster shack to cook your meal if you aren't eating in the restaurant.

We were given the suggestion to eat here from the B & B where we stayed. We had the fried clams and the broiled shrimp and they were so good that we went back the next night and had the lobster. Delicious. The evening view was pleasant, the service was very good, the staff was friendly and the price was right. We will return for another meal the next time we are in Maine.

So good we went back the next night, too. Definitely go with the lobster! Staff is very patient and helpful for those, like us, without lobster eating experiences. Great view of the bridge. We watched moon come up over the water, too. Highly recommended.

We have been coming to this restaurant (or a predecessor) for 30 years, and we were very pleased that in this incarnation, it is better than ever. The fried clams were the sweetest, crispest, tastiest we've had in a long time, and the lobster roll was prepared to perfection. The onion rings, available as a modest upgrade, were fresh, hot, and delicious! Put all that together with a world-class view, an idyllic setting, and a very attentive staff, and you have a dining experience to remember! The famed Cribstone Bridge, a recently restored engineering marvel, is at the doorstep. They told us they will close for the season in late October or early November, and will probably open again in mid-to-late April. We WILL be back!
