“Always a delicious meal”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

We dine at Francois' at least once a month. My favorite dish is blackened tuna with crawfish sauce. The potatoes are plentiful and tasty; the vegetables are crisp and delicious. The small house salad is fresh Romaine. I have never had less than good service - the staff is very busy busy seating customers, waiting tables, and clearing tables - as the servers are always cheerful. When I have room, the dessert selections are plentiful. The wine selection is limited but from a good vintner.

“Best value, most excellent meal”
Reviewed March 19, 2012

Had the shrimp kabob which had five perfectly seasoned and grilled shrimp and enough vegetables to support a small farmer's market. Everything was cooked to perfection (the potatoes were especially delicious!) and it all came to just under $10. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. And, ask for "Attitude" the nickname for a great waitress.

“Best Food and Value in Zachary”
Reviewed January 15, 2012

This is a small place which recently moved into it's new location. The chef/owner does an excellent job with a variety of dishes.

The value is excellent. There are entrees under $ 10.00 (with sides included) that are so large that you can take it home and have another meal tomorrow.

It's very casual (t-shirt and jeans are fine). It's a family type place - kids and all.

The service is excellent, professional, and timely. The atmosphere, while not over the top, allows for good conversation without being loud.

It's a great place for casual dining with family and friends. This place is the new gem in Zachary and will most likely be THE place to eat in Zachary very soon.

“My favorite restaurant in Zachary”
Reviewed November 18, 2011

This is my favorite restaurant in Zachary, The food is excellent and perfectly cooked every time. It's just a nice all around little restaurant with good entrees. This is one of two places in the entire Baton Rouge metroplex that has a marinara sauce that passes the muster of my husband and myself - it's good, old fashioned marinara, not sweetened ketchup. It is also the only place I eat tuna in the Baton Rouge area - Francois knows how to cook it!

The decor of the new location is lovely and cozy; the patio is restful and well appointed. It's just a great little neighborhood restaurant, run by a good chef.
