Without much doubt, this was the worst meal I have had in well over a year. I went in for lunch and was the only person there. A few others came in before I left, but not a successful lunch business. There was one server who was very nice and very professional. After delivering the menu, she told me about the lunch specials. I chose a catfish plate which came with one side and a salad.
Salad was cut strips of lettuce with a tomato and pickle, accompanied by a small package of dressing. At least it was eatable. The catfish had a sauce splashed on both filets, but it was so thin that it became difficult to cut since it was a bit over fried. The sauce had a nice flavor and had both shrimp and crawfish. The baked macaroni was prepared totally without seasoning. Who cooks pasta without salt? This place does! And it was ice cold. Uneatable.
I called the waitress over, and asked for my check, telling her that meal could not be eaten and why. There was no offer of a reduced price or no charge for the still full plates of food. As I was walking out the door of this old Pizza Hut, a young lady stopped me and said that they don't season things here, but put salt and pepper on the table. I mentioned that the catfish while over cooked, was nicely seasoned, and she just looked at me.
I left wishing that the Pizza Hut was still in business.
