Owner description: Landry Vineyards was established in 1999 by Jeff, Libby and their four sons; Ethan, Kohen, Noah and Micah along with the loving labor of family and friends. The first grape vines planted were two acres of a white European American hybrid grape, Blanc Du Bois, with plans for 2003 expansion including a red grape, Cynthia/Norton. Landry Vineyards was licensed as a Louisiana Native Winery in 2003. The first vineyards were established in Folsom, La. where the winery was also located. Soon after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the Landry's used the storm opportunity to relocate to higher ground. They now reside in the beautiful hill country of West Monroe, La on a 20-acre site including a new winery, vineyards and beautiful tasting room. The Landry family strives to produce quality Louisiana wines that are distinctive to the region while complimenting the rich flavorful Cajun Foods of our French Acadian Heritage. Landry Vineyards wines may be purchased in 450 stores throughout Louisiana, from our website or by visiting Landry Vineyards in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Planned a trip and it was well worth the time. Learned a lot about the history of the area and local celebrity's. Great affordable wine. Take a hour and stop by. Jeff will fix you up! Make sure and buy some blackberry merlot. You won't be sorry.

Landry's concerts make for the perfect date night or night with friends/family. Great for couples or families-- very versatile entertainment. Their wine list is fairly large and reasonably priced. You can also buy wine by the glass. They serve food and also allow outside food in. The trees provide nice shade and make a perfect picnic and music spot. Landry's is easily the best thing to come to this area in a long time. The Landry's crew is doing a fantastic job. Definitely go! Its good fun!

We were lucky enough to stop by the winery when they were open and doing tastings; and even luckier to have the owner Jeff take us through our tasting. Everyone was extremely friendly & knowledgeable about all of their wines, and answered all of our questions. There's a great view of the vineyards to look at while your doing your tasting. We took home several bottles, and will see about shipping some in the future. If you happen to be passing through LA on highway 20, I'd highly recommend this as a stop!
