We stumbled across Thibodaux whilst driving around Louisiana, and ended up at the Wetland Acadian Centre, who recommended Joyce and Frank's B & B to us for accommodation. I have never enjoyed a stay at a B & B more. And not because of the room! Although the room and bathroom were lovely, it is Frank and Joyce who made this a wonderful experience, not just a place to stay. They hosted us in the true sense, telling stories, listening to our stories, giving us unique insight into Cajun culture which we knew little about. The warmth and genuine-ness of Frank and Joyce is evidenced by how many people come back to visit them. One of the things they do is ask you to enter your details in their guest book, then they take a photo of you before you leave and print it out and stick it in their book so they remember you. I just wish we had have had more time.
