“A REAL HIDDEN SECRET”

Having been invited to sample a wee restaurant at a garden centre I was certainly surprised by the whole experience. A wonderfully designed building in a perfect setting and which serves excellent, very reasonably priced food. I would encourage anyone to try it. The staff are the stars of the show as each one we meet had a great attitude to the customer. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them and they made our foursome feel at home. Well done to all concerned on 25.07.13 7pm especially Peter who is a true professional. Well done to Emma F. as well. I would definitely highly recommend.

“Well Worth a Visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2013

Had Afternoon tea with friends recently on a lovely sunny afternoon and we were able to sit outside in lovely comfy and modern seats, staff were lovely and very friendly - our food arrived quickly - sandwiches well filled and plenty of tray bakes with the offer of 'top up' tea - Very well priced for Afternoon Tea, Little shop was well stocked with gifts cards etc. Def well worth a visit and would be great for a special occasion. Will be back.

“The Sweetest Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

We have recently visited Dundonald Nurseries for lunch on what must have been the hottest day of the year. While we waited on other family members to arrive, we sat outside to enjoy the sun. We waited no longer than two minutes before the most charming waiter came out to see how we were and offer us a cool refreshment.
From what I have heard the restaurant is quite new but you would never have guessed it as the staff knew their menu from back to front and were extremely efficient. The views from the first floor are gorgeous and visiting this restaurant made my first trip to Belfast that little bit sweeter. The Irish are so welcoming and friendly and I really appreciated the staff helping our Nana in the lift and to her seat. As for the lunch itself – amazing.
The giftshop is cute too – could have bought the whole shop!

“Very Pleasant experience.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

I took my wife and mum-in-law here today for lunch. Sat upstairs. Great view, great food, warm and attentive staff. We had 3 teas 2 freshly baked scones with jam and cream, a great sarnie and side salad which arrived quickly. It came to £13. Food was tasty and of a high quality. First time there. Will be back (hope they keep the prices as reasonable). We then went to the garden centre and were assisted by a really nice guy who helped us in picking a tree for my garden. Overall a lovely experience from start to finish. Well done to all concerned. <><

“Great food & Great Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

We went to secret garden for lunch and were extremely impressed. We were shown to our seats right away and ordered our food immediately. Our lunch arrived minutes later and the food was hot and very good quality. The choice of traybakes and deserts after lunch was also great. The staff were very warm, polite and showed great hospitality throughout. Seating was comfortable and the beautiful view out the window mixed with the relaxed atmosphere made for an all round great experience. I will be back here in the near future.
