We arrived around 9pm to be greeted by other guests who let us in, the owners were not present. They showed us where our room was which we can describe only as a chintz explosion of frills, flowers, ruffles, doilies and the highest bed we've encountered on a holiday, it even came with a step stool. The hunt for the TV was fun, we eventually found it hidden in the wall behind tassled doors.
Breakfast was wonderful and all home made. The guests all talked together making it a friendly and homely atmosphere. One guest talked a lot more than others and she was true entertainment, but it was great southern hospitality.More
