Went for lunch in Saturday and it was closed. It looked closed permanently. It may want to call first.

“A great find!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

This was a place that you would never just find. Saw some reviews on this place and looked dank on the outside. The food was great and would recommend this one for sure.

“"A Shreveport institution, home of the Muffy"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

Use your GPS to locate Fertitta's in Shreveport, it is off the beaten path, but so worth the visit. This is the home of the Muffy, a delicious sandwich with a relish to die for. Choose your meat and just dive into the delicious bread. Combination is so delightful. Run by a very friendly family for years in the same location, third generation. What I really liked here was the Italian Mint Tea. Had three glasses and one to go. Best tea I believe I have ever had, sweet and went well with the 100 degree temperature the day we visited. Atmosphere is unique, with hardwood floors, and red checker tablecloths. A great lunch, be sure to visit if you are in town.

“Eat a Muffy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

Really great sandwich place and fun historic atmosphere. The large Muffy is HUGE! We stopped in on a long trip south and enjoyed the food and I really like the mint tea. This place is loved by the locals and was easy to find in GPS right off the highway.

“A great lunch place”

One of the best muffaletta sandwiches you will eat. Also, get the Italian sweet tea, it is sweet and minty.
