If you are looking for a "hole in the wall" Greek and Lebanese Restaurant, then this is it! The Chicken Shawarma, whether it's on the salad, in the platter, or in a sandwich is Fantastic! The Fried Eggplant is the best I've ever had. They offer many dished of lamb, fish, and traditional Lebanese Soups. The veggie grape leaves come from a jar and are ok, but the Meat Grape Leaves are made in house and are very, very tasty. Most all dishes come with hummus and rice pilaf, which both compliment any entree. The Athena Sampler appetizer is a trip through Greek food with enough to feed a few. The Sampler appetizer paires nicely with the wide selection of Hooka Flavors. They offer patio Dinning and Hookas with many flavors of tabacco. They do not serve alcohol, but welcome you to bring your own wine or beer, even providing openers and glasses (with no corking fee charged!).
My recommendation is to take a few friends, a few bottles of wine, and enjoy the patio, the Hooka, and the wide variety of food choices and make an evening of it. The staff is friendly, helpful, and the owner can often be found wandering around and it is easy to find conversation with him. When my family thinks Greek food, we only think Athena.
