“Nice Trails”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

It is a really nice park for a city like Ruston. It has world class biking trails, great for hiking too. Actually, better while hiking, so you can stop and enjoy the scenery. Very nice especially during the spring and fall.

“Home away from Hom”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

What's not to like? This park is wonderful and is an ideal getaway with nice RV sites, plenty of trees and natural landscaping with occasional glimpses of deer. We absolutely love it. Pretty park with a man-made lake & beach, play-ground, and hiking/bicycle trails.

“A hidden gem in Lincoln Parish”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

This is a well managed and well groomed small park with a beautiful 30-acre lake. It has attractive picnic pavilions and meeting facilities and numerous campsites. The park is crisscrossed with miles of hiking and biking trails running through creek bottoms and over wooded ridges. Add the man-made beaches at the swimming area and fishing piers and you have a match for most of the state parks in our region. The best advantage is that the park is rarely crowded, particularly on weekdays. If you'd enjoy a walk through a beautiful hilly forest in rarely disturbed quiet, you'll love this park.
