This was our second crawfish restaurant experience and the one I had been waiting to try for quite some time. You can actually taste the difference in the crawfish to other places - the purging they do is what makes the difference. I cannot fault the other restaurant we dined at (Louisiana Crawfish Time), the food there was delicious but Hawks beat it hands down, it was head and shoulders above the rest for taste and texture. They were sweet and delicious. Who cares if they cost a bit more, that you have to order the potatoes and corn separately, when food tastes as good as this why do you care if you've spent a few dollars more, I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to taste delicious crawfish. Out of the way it may be but worth searching for, we were the only foreigners in the place and that to me always spells out you have found a good restaurant, it its good enough for the locals then its good enough for me.
