My husband and i had the most fantastic trip through Sri Lanka In Style, i would highley reccomend them to organise your tour through Sri Lanka. Our driver was extremely professional, always on time, the car was always gleaming, we had soft drinks daily and even had cold, wet flannels prepared daily. Unlike many other operators our driver did not expect to stay with us in our free time - even though of course we offered him to take meals with us on several occasions, he quite rightly would say that this was our holiday.
His knowledge was wonderful and he was cheerful and a really lovely man.

Warwick gardens is a gem and its a real shame that the manager hasnt taken it upon himself to make this something really special. i think he would prefer to have the house as his own and unfortunately isnt 'mangement' type.
Being their only guests for 2 nights he promised to get us moved to an upstairs room, something that never materialsed
He / Staff were hard to find if we wanted a drink which i found really difficult and on one occasion he completely ignored us our return to the house

The chef and the food are a complete delight and he really made this part of the trip for us. He makes all his food fresh and you are given a good choice of menu options at each meal. This was like having out own private chef so a real treat

No prices on anything and yes wine is over 60 gbp a bottle. While the food we took turned out to be the cheapest anywhere and by far the best.

The views are breathtaking but the garden is terribly small and yes the drive to the house is very 'hairy'. You should plan your day so you dont need to keep coming and going or you will waste allot of time in the car

Your drivers accommodation may not be the best but he will be fed fantastic food and have great company. Please be sure to check on your driver when you book somewhere to stay.

If you are a bit more forceful than myself then you'll be able to deal with the management issues no problem, i just didnt fancy it after long days out

I stayed here last week with my mum for 2 nights. It is a lovely house to stay in with beautiful rooms and an amzing view. However I do think there are a number of things to be aware of.
1/ The road up is not suitable for cars. Ask the hotel to collect you from the bottom of the drive. It is also located miles from anywhere.
2/ The manager is completely incompetant who loves the idea of sitting behind a big desk. He spends all day going up and down the drive on his scooter. Whilst one employee, Anthony, does absolutly everything.
3/ The food is not good, and the chef is not presentable, his uniform was dirty which made us wonder about how clean the kitchen was.
4/ The wine is so expensive!!! And from the whole wine menu, they had only 2 bottles of white wine on the whole premises. At almost £60 a bottle!!!!
