The bread pudding was delicious. The salad was good enough for a party of three. Not to mention enough fried pickles for a group of six.

Went to this restaurant for lunch with engineers from various companies. The restaurant was out in no where as one would expect because of being in New Roads, Louisania which is about 40 minutes from Baton Rouge. I was very impressed with this place. The food was exceptional especially the gumbo and po boy catfish sandwich. The price was right. The service was very good although the staff was so busy they could not stop and talk (busy). This out of the way restaurant should be visited. I was impressed.
This is the best seafood in the area. It's a small busy establishment but worth the wait! The food is always cooked to perfection.
Excellent Menu. Rustic atmosphere. Great Cajun and Creole Food. I have dined here numerous times and have not been disappointed yet. Gets kind if loud at times but its the best place for lunch in New Roads. They have something for everyone's taste.
