Stopped here on a road trip to Colorado. The staff was pleasant and helpful the room was clean and adequate. The plumbing here could use some work, very little water pressure and drains that ran very slowly.

Room Tip: Good stop after a long drive.

15 minutes drive to historic centre. This place is cheap and cheerful enough. It has a pool and great free breakfast with fruits and toast and boiled eggs and waffles and more.... Only downside is the lumpy duvets (comforters)
fast food close by and can get pizza delivered! Good choice on our road trip

On the surface this one looked good, but when I really got to looking it just wasn't the usual quality I see at Hampton Inns. The room itself was dark and the furnishings were ok but not as good as usual. The fold out sofa bed mattress was suspect. The sofa is on the verge of needing recovering. The tables seemed like glued sawdust. The room had a really odd smell. On the positive side, the front desk staff was very good. The linens were the usual excellent stuff you find at Hampton Inn.

This hotel is convenient for interstate travel, but not close to anything in historic Natchitoches. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was ok and typical Hampton fare. We were not told anything about a happy hour, or any other amenities. Our check-in was quick & efficient, but no extra information was given about anything. There were a few chocolate cookies sitting out on the check-in/out desk. They were not covered, so we didn't partake (not knowing how long they had been there). For our purposes, I would probably check for something closer to the downtown area. The price was not great, even at AARP discounts.

We stayed in this nice Hampton Inn for one night on the way to Texas from Florida. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly front desk person who efficiently gave me the keys to the exact type of room we booked. She informed me about the nearby restaurants, and mentioned about the "happy hours" social they had that evening, which we eventually enjoyed. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, meeting our expectations from a good Hampton Inn which we normally prefer while traveling. We were well rested next morning, ate a simple complimentary breakfast and were on our way again. We also noticed that most of the other fellow travelers in the dining room were properly dressed in casual attire, no flip-flops or tank tops, etc. We were impressed and would definitely choose this one again on our next trip to Texas.
Two additional comments: (1) this is a much better value than the Hampton Inn at Alexandria who asked for one-third more money for the same room only twenty miles to the south. (2) the only elevator in the hotel was kind of old and slow, with cracked tiles.

Room Tip: Call the hotel directly for best prices.

After trying to find a room in Shreveport with no luck, we drove further south and found this delightful place. Breakfast was hot and yummy. The staff was very friendly. The comforter on the bed was not your typical poly-wool disgusting comforter...it was a DELIGHTFUL feather down, squishy, comfortable, yummy comforter! I recommend this place.

This was our first time staying in Natchitoches, La. My family and I were in town for the LHCBA All Star Banquet and Game. We live 3 hours away so we definitely wanted to stay somewhere that would be convenient, clean, and provided great service. And that's exactly what we got. My money was well spent because the service was excellent. Chris, the hotel clerk that assisted me, went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. I enjoyed the stay so much, I would have loved to stay another night but we had to come home for church on Sunday.
