We ate here on our way through LA. We decided to have a few of the appetizers as our main course. We had the fried green tomatoes, the mini meat pies, and the crabcakes. Unfortunately they did not have any alligator so we didn't get to try it. Everything was very good and the service was good. We would eat there again.

We eat here whenever in town. It is consistently terrific. The waitstaff are so very nice and helpful. The bartender went out of her way to pull wines for us to sample. The bread pudding is to die for!!

This is the nicest facility in the Natchitoches area and "fanciest" restaurant. It also has a nice outside dining area on Lake Sibley. the food is very good. the selections are traditional Louisiana food, with nothing particularly inovative, but all are good. The portins are kind of small for the price, but the included salad bar makes up for that.

We had a New Years Eve dinner before the fireworks and it was good but not great. Our server was a very sweet girl and provided us great service. The atmosphere would be nice for special occasions or just casual dining. I would recommend the sampler appetizer plate, a little of everything that was very tasty. The disappointment came with the entrees. I had a bourbon grilled chicken that had canned mushrooms dumped on top?! With a side of bland broccoli it was a let down. My husband and daughter had the meat pies which were our first taste of these and we really enjoyed them. We had the bananas foster for dessert that was yummo! Not a bad place to eat, not sure if I would go back though.

It was closed, on Saturday noon and Saturday night, with no notice as to why on the door, nor any indication when or if it would re-open. Looking through the window I noticed that the table lay-outs (complete with cloths, and cloth napkins) had bits of debris, as if they had been prepared several days ago, then left.
