I started in the museum where you start with a short intro video. The tour guide explained the museum and then there was a tour of the house with another tour guide. Both tour guides were very good. Your free to walk around the gardens and bible museum(which also had art displayed) if you so wish after the house tour. Spent about 1 1/2 hours here and would recommend. Cost was $7.

This place is lovely, but I would not recommend it for preschoolers and toddlers. It was too much sitting during the Coca-Cola presentation and I was politely discouraged from taking my 4 year old into the Beidenharn house. My son and I did enjoy the Bible Museum and Gardens. It would be a lovely wedding venue. Really the only weird thing about this place is they are very protective of the nickel cokes and there were 3 times when they stopped someone by the coke machine.

Thank bestesjr

The wife and I were touring our home state and found Biedenharn Museum & Gardens here on Trip Advisor as a top place to see in Monroe LA. We are so glad we got to see it. We did not know of the Biedenharn family and their contribution to Coca-Cola and Delta Airlines.
We have been to the Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta and this was much better. The Biedenharn family. Were the first ones to bottle Coca-Cola and create a whole new market.
The Coke part of the museum is small but covers the whole history of how they started bottling and marketing it.
Next to see is the Biedenharn family home located a few houses down the street. It's a nice looking home with a guided tour. After the guided tour you can roam the beautiful garden in the back yard.
Next up is a building next to the house that houses a collection of very old bibles and some nice art work.
This is a must see if you are anywhere near Monroe LA!

Nice family day trip! The 5 cent cold coke was a plus. Museum, history, art and garden was enjoyed by all. Gift shop had a variety. Nice to take pictures in garden.

Such a lovely setting for taking photos. Spring time is the best with all the gorgeous flowers blooming. Great fountains.
