Have been here a couple of times and have had the same good experience on both occasions. We arrived after 6:45 PM each visit and had to wait for a table because we wanted to sit outside with the view (which is great during that time of the day, plus you get a considerable breeze). The wait was only 15 minutes so we bellied up to the bar and chatted; noise inside was not a factor.
On our most recent visit, our waitress was rather busy and it took longer than average to take our drink and dinner order. However, once we placed our order, the food was served in reasonable time. I had the grouper with a house salad; the fillet was small to average size, the cream sauce was good. My better half had the trout (I believe it's called Trout Audrey on the menu). It was very good; nice portion, good cream sauce and rich flavor.
Prices aren't too bad either; you can get in and out with a few drinks and tip for < $70. If you are looking to sit outside during the summer, after 7:00 PM is your best bet. Although they have plenty of fans to cool off patrons, nothing compares to a nice breeze across their porch. Also, there are two types of tables/chairs (high and regular) on the porch. If you put in your name to sit outside, be sure to specify which table you'd like for dining. That'll prevent calling your name to dine at a table that may not be to your liking. Enjoy!
