Spent a night here with my wife and 3 months old. Staff were excellent, always willing to help, and even had a birthday card and small box of chocolates for my wife. Room was spacious and excellent value for money. Breakfast was great. Can't fault it for the money.

This is a good 4 star hotel with clean, comfortable rooms that are a bit on the small side but for £65 a night are excellent value. The breakfast was surprisingly good. The bonus of this hotel is the pool and gym which are not reflected as well on the website as they actually are. Highly recommend this hotel as a good value, and a great location.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was very very spacious and had everything you would need. Breakfast and evening meal was top class. The location is great for Windsor or legoland, Ascot etc. The best is the staff!! The friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever experienced in any hotel! I would/will return without doubt and highly recommend it!!! Peter Philpot

Stayed at thehotel for three nights in room 207 which felt more like a board room with a bed that drops out of a wall unit. Bed was comfy, pillows hard, and spacious room was more than a little soul less with the main light switch at the opposite end of this long room to the bed. The room was called a suite but I would not recommend it and would suggest a more cosy room if you chose to saty. However the room was clean and it had a settee etc .The hotel alos has a pool and gym facilities which are excellent. The bar area is alos lacking in charcater or ambience and doesn't entice you into it. No real ales even in bottles on this occassion. Breakfast was standard fare and tasty enough.Taxi into Basingstoke cost £16 going and £24 back beacuse it was after 11.00pm - only just, but the 50% on-charge applied.
Overall a reasonable business hotel to stay in and I would stay again.

Room Tip: If you like spacious without character then 207. If you like cosy then try a smaller room. I did ask...

We booked the groupon voucher at this hotel and it was fantastic! Brilliant spa facilities. The staff were extremly helpful and pleasent at all times. The evening meal and breakfast were also excellent. Sometimes when you use a groupon voucher you are made to feel different to everybody else staying there but this was NOT the case here! We will defintely be looking for future good offers here!

Stayed here for two nights for my sisters 50th. As she was having her party there too. Ideal venue. The service was great. The staff were very accomadating in all aspects. The waiting staff at breakfasts we subereb. Rooms were very well equiped with everything you needed. (plenty of plug sockets) which is much needed these days. We also used the pool. Which we did fel needed a bit of make over and re-designing regarding the outlay and positions of changing areas. But other than that certainly no conplaints. We would definatley stay again.

The hotel is lovely and comfortable with a well equipped gym and a swimming pool. I did not use the Spa. The breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious.
The only negative was an extractor fan in our bathroom that was in continually, so a bit noisy in he room even with the bathroom door shut, We skied but were told it was necessary o stop mould growing in the bathroom. I do not know why it cannot be switched off at night.
Hook station is only a mile away with direct trains to Waterloo, so a good value break with easy access to London.

Room Tip: Room 227 has the continual extractor fan.

Thank you for your positive review, I was very pleased to read you had enjoyed a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us. I have passed on your positive feedback to the team and also to maintenance who have adjusted the Fan in the bathroom, so please accept my apologies for the fact it caused a disturbance at night.

Thank you again, I do hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you back on a future occasion.
