We went to Pujo Street Cafe on a Saturday night. When we walked in, we had to acknowledge the hostess before she would acknowledge us. No "good evening" "how are you"...just "how many?". She grabbed 2 menus and walked off. We weren't sure if we were to follow her or not. Got to a table (only 4 tables were taken when we arrived - not very busy for a Saturday night) and the hostess mumbled something about our served "Cara". After sitting for about 10 minutes without any service, our server "Todd" came over and took our drink order. I guess it took them 10 minutes to decide it was Todd's table and not Cara's. But from that point forward, Todd took good care of us. Kept our wine and water glasses full, and the food came out at good intervals. The food was delicious. We had Oysters Pujo for an appetizer, I had crab-stuffed shrimp and my husband had Ahi Tuna. Both were very good. The bread pudding for dessert was also very good. We will go back again, for the food, and hope the service is better.
