“Fresh ingredients & helpful staff; great for gluten-free”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We ate there on a Thursday evening around 7pm. The restaurant was only moderately busy, so we were seated right away. it is a nice/classy place with a dimmed but not too dark ambiance.

The menu has many selections, some traditional and some house specialties. They highlight on the menu which items are vegan and/or gluten free. We ordered the Vegetable Pakoras, Lettuce And Papad Cups appetizers and for entree's Tandoori Chicken and also the Bhindi Masala (we love okra). They were all excellent. Portion sizes were good. We didn't leave hungry and had a little left over. We felt the prices were fair for the quality and quantity of food and the service/ambiance provided.
If we are back in the area, we will definitely stop again.

“Loved it!”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

Our Baingan Bharta pureed eggplant with green peas for crunch, mildly hot as we had ordered, was great. On our second visit, we had another great dish, vegetable jafrezzi (assorted vegetables in a tasty tomato sauce, with some good crunchy textures.) Mango lassi had a strong sweet-tangy taste, the best we’ve ever had anywhere. For dessert the first night we had mango mousse in an edible white chocolate cup (from their American dessert tray) and mango kulfi. The mousse was okay, but its flavor was too subtle; we preferred the delicious kulfi. The second night’s kheer (rice pudding flavored with cardamom) was also a hit. We could easily converse in this soothingly quiet, well-occupied restaurant with its unobtrusive Indian background music. Service was efficient, friendly, and swift.
