We frequent IHOP in our home state of Md often. We went to IHOP while visiting in Lafayette and we were very sorry we did. From the time we ordered our food till it was received, it was 35 minutes. Our waitress never checked on us for coffee refills or to let us know what was taking so long, we had to get another waitress to do this. My husband had asked for no cheese on his omelet, he had to return it and again we had to flag another waitress to get this done. I had ordered an omelet asked for oatmeal as a substitute for fruit, I did not realize till I got home I had been billed for the oatmeal in full as well as an additional .99 for egg white substitute. It took 15 minutes for my husband's omelet to come back to the table. Meanwhile he had to ask where his fruit was which came with the omelet and ask for his toast. We asked for a manager. Jamal came to our table and we explained all the problems we had. He apologized and said he would do something about the bill. We got the bill in full and had to flag the waitress again to tell her to bring it to the mgr. He took 20% off the bill, my husband did not double check where we were overbilled for the egg white subs and the oatmeal. This is the worst experience we've ever had at IHOP and do not plan on returning there for a while.
