“Beautiful example of this type of architecture”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

Attended a wedding at Easter in this beautiful cathedral. Reminded me of ones I have visited in Europe and UK The light the stained glass windows allow in is spectacular and it is much brighter, not dark and dreary, than many cathedrals of its type. Beautiful old neighborhood as well. Nice area to take a drive in.

“Beautiful in every way”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

The Cathedral in Lafayette is a beautiful building that is the center of the Diocese of Lafayette. The artwork is beautiful while remaining very tasteful. Try to go when the organ is being played. It is a FABULOUS instrument!

“the oak tree is beautiful”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

if you think the church is beautiful, which it is, you ought to see the oak tree beside the church. It is probably a few hundred years old. View the cemetery also, many very old graves to see and appreciate.

“Beautiful church!”

This is a beautiful church. We also enjoyed seeing the 500 year old oak tree and walked around the cemetery. Highly recommend!

“Lovely”

The gardens, the detail in the Cathedral . . . add to that we attended a wedding with amazing music so the acoustics are great as well.
