“An old favorite”

It's not a dive diner like when I was in college (and loved it), it's more refined now. Not a difficult achievement! I'm guessing new owners. But the food and service were good and priced correctly. It won't be the best food you've ever had but its a great value. I'd go back. I had a good lunch.

“Blast from the past!!”
Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

Been around for a long while, and food is always killer!! I can't seem to stop getting either a burger or red beans, but I'm sure the other food is just as good! And the chocolate malts, wow. Just unreal.

“It's 1957 in here ............”

Classic hamburger. Not billions sold - just good taste and feel. Let's face it - we want both food AND an enjoyable social experience when we go out to eat. Even I can assemble a pretty good hamburg right here at home. But, it takes some real know how to make one that has had folks coming back for more this long.

Not just older folks in here enjoying themselves. Families - both young and " older" families, traditional blue-hair set, gaggles of gals just out for lunchtime conversations, business people - entire cross sections of both local and travelers. THIS is the place to go. Don't miss it!

“"Walk Down Memory Lane"”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We stayed here in Hammond one night and ate here. It was our first time to eat here. We enjoyed eating here at Lee's and taking a trip down memory lane. We enjoyed our time going back to the 50's. Great variety of food.

“Great 50's like diner”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Lee's has many different types of food. From red beans and rice to hamburgers and fries to salads. They also have ice cream and shakes, malts and all those good things! Great service and food is good. Fun place to go with a large group or just yourself!
