Cool gadgets and kitchen stuff but the pastry shop in the back is what this place is all about! It’s deceiving because they don’t have wracks of pastries for you to look at so ask what’s available. Lemon Tart was one of the, if not the, best pastry we’ve ever had! Perfect balance of tart, sweet, and savory. Their signature Gateau Na Na is awesome. Great dough with an intense pecan filling that is not overwhelming.

This is the friendliest shop you will ever visit. All the gift items have been thoughtfully selected and displayed. Here you will find a good variety of April Cornell items; Evelyn and Crabtree products; all sorts of kitchen tools; neat dishes and gift ideas. There is a pastry chef on site who creates amazingly wonderful things like a pecan filled pastry; scones; tarts and more. I love this place. Nancy and Jesse are welcoming and accommodating. A must place to visit if you are in or near Grand Coteau, LA!

While cycling thru Acadiana we found this wonderful little shop. While it is full of wonderful kitchen items, gifts and more, hidden in the back is a wonderful bakery, that will not disappoint. There is no indoor seating, but a beautiful little area that is a hidden garden behind the shop, is perfect for sitting while enjoying your items. We had the lemon tarts, and chocolate cookies, which were all excellent, but the truly memorable item, is the Gateau Na-Na. The Gateau Na-Na is a wonderful butter cake, with a pecan praline filling. It can be purchased by the slice, or if you are like me you will figure out a way to take one home, even if it means finding a way to strap it on the back of a bicycle. It is truly worth all the effort.
