Incredible spot!
Must see in Phong Nha. Is superb.
But prepare to work your muscles, a lot of stairs to reach the cave and also inside.

We had a tour booked from our homestay where we went to Paradise cave first. There is a short trek up to the caves and then steps up and down inside so you need to be reasonably fit.
Inside is like a cathedral it is vast and the stalactites and stalagmites are very impressive. Definitely worth s visit

A rare landscape which feels like you could be on the moon! It’s a short walk through the caves start to finish but the trek up is longer through rainforest. Stunning views from outside and inside. Lots of steps and slippery. Amazing experience very glad we went!

When you get there its 20 minutes walk, 20 minutes going up to the cave and around 40-60 minutes inside. Really nice very big cave, the images you see before might make you expect to more but still really nice.

If you are not a hard core caver with lots of days to spare in Phong Nha Ke Bang national park , this popular attraction is definitely a not-to-miss experience. Yes- it is very touristy and attracts a large number of visitors. However it would be very difficult to be not blown away by the amazing natural formations inside the cave.

From the parking, you can either go up to the cave entrance by buggies or walk up through the well maintained pathway through the woods. We chose to walk up and return by golf buggies- good cardio exercise and pleasant if you do it in the early morning.

The drive from Dong Hoi to National park and caves goes through some scenic rustic villages. The cave experience is offered in two choices - either 1 km well maintained pathways through the cave or you could trek another 6-7 kms to exit at the other side. The 1 Km touristy section is lighted up and good enough for an overview of the amazing formations inside this huge cave. However if you have the time for a more authentic caving experience do the 7 kms section.

There are lots of tour companies who does the cave tour (at almost the same prices)- we did ours through Nam Long Hotels where we stayed. The tour guide was a young lady who gave us good detailed information on the National park and the cave and how it was found accidentally.

Was very impressed with this place. Truly remarkable and awe-inspiring. Nothing can really describe it's vastness and beauty. You have to see it for yourself. Highly recommend it be on your list.

Great and amazing tour through the cave. Quiet easy, but the dark is also a little bit scary but also really exciting

We rented a moped for the day and drove ourselves to the paradise cave. It’s a flat, 20 minute walk to get to the cave (you can pay for a buggy). Then you get to the cave and it’s another 20 minute hike uphill to get to the opening of the cave. But you step into the cave and it is amazing. It’s huge!! It’s down a ton of steps. Without a tour you can journey 1 km in. It’s worth all the steps! Really beautiful.

Impressive and worth the entrance fee. Walk to the cave from the ticket office is 25 minutes, but it is a nice walk.
