We stayed here 2 nights a week apart and found all to be perfect.
Beach side grill with good varied food, great staff, and clean comfy room with very nice staff at desk and breakfast .

The Grand view is like stepping back to the Caribbean of the colonial past. It's exactly what modern hotel design cannot ever be an honest, well run, comfortable, reminder of what they should be. The owners are a lovely couple, with whom I wish I had more time to get to know. I think I could have talked island politics with them for hours;). Hudson and Charles are incredible to the extreme. We had the pleasure of three short visits to the hotel and each time Hudson suggested menu items based on what we had had on the trip before. The grand view while not a 5 star accommodation will go on my list as one of the best
Feeling hotels I have ever stayed at. It's simply special place.

The Grand View Beach hotel is beautiful. Located right on the point looking out over the ocean, it is a gorgeous place to stay while exploring the island of St. Vincent. The owners are great people and are always available if you have any questions about the island. The dining room, where you can eat any meal during the day, is lovely and right on the water. From the dining room, we watched iguanas in the trees during lunch one day and had a romantic candlelight dinner one evening.

The staff is very personable and the rooms are spacious and clean. The building itself is very cool as well, with many sitting areas scattered around, it feels like you are in a large house, not a hotel. The grounds are quite nice and the pool is right on the point.

The hotel is not within walking distance of much but it doesn't matter because most of the island is better explored with a taxi and you can easily take a taxi to the city of Kingstown, which is the best place for walking around. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet serenity of the hotel and hope to be back again someday!
