We have gone to this zoo many times before and this was the first time we were disappointed with it.
By the Koi pond there was a snake that was loose swimming in the water not sure if it was poisonous but that was a little scary
Walking under the tree they had huge and plenty of banana spiders I was worried that one would fall and land on my self or my children.
It seemed also that alot of the exbits were empty that showed signs for a hippo but no hippo and the black panther
Im not sure if we will go back we use to go quite often and this time was upsetting

Visit the crocagators. Giraffe wispering. That poor rino. A duck that drowned. The groundhogs that dug their way to freedom. They used to sell a cookbook with a recipe for each animal. lol

We have been to this zoo many times. We have always been pleased. The zoo is clean and well shaded. There is a great play ground for the kids and the train ride was fun. My two-year old loves going here. They have a lot of monkeys which is great. The only negatives that I see are the restrooms are a little "rustic" with no diaper changing station. The price is also a little high. However, it's not so high is would stop me from making the two-hour trip. We are planning on a return visit sometime next week.

This zoo is very close to where I live and I take my daughter often. Its a small zoo but the quality of the animals and enclosures are amazing. Probably the closest you can get to some of these animals in the US. There is a very cute petting zoo and little train that is fun for the young ones.
