Stopped at Landry's yesterday (by default since Robin's and Pat's were both closed) on a return trip from Houston. I had eaten here years before and thought the food was terrible - decided to try it again. Same opinion - it's sad that this tourist trap is actually fooling travelers into believing this is a true "cajun seafood" experience. I am from the area so I think I can rightfully say what good cajun seafood is. The roux in the Crawfish bisque was extremely dark - very few crawfish in the dish; the seafood gumbo (which a friend had) was the same - actually TWO shrimp in the bowl of gumbo. The service was terrible. Our server just "disappeared" and our food was brought to us by another. Our server did not "bus" the table or come to see if we needed anything else. The manager walked by a couple of times and was totally oblivious to the fact there was a problem with our food or service. Save your money and time - don't go here.
