“Pretty good.”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

Red beans and rice special was excellent but the seafood gumbo was rather watery and there were possibly 5 tiny shrimp and 2 small unidentifiable pieces of meat in it.

“Crazy 'Bout Crawfish Cajun Cafe - Authentic Cajun”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

We visited Crazy 'Bout Crawfish Cajun Cafe in September, 2011 twice and returned this year. The food is excellent, the service is okay and the ambiance is what you would expect. I really like the sampler platter and my fiancee says the Deep-fried Bread Pudding may be the best thing she's ever had. Any time we go south we try to include a detour to Breaux Bridge so we can dine at Crazy 'Bout Crawfish Cajun Cafe.

“Ignored”
Reviewed November 9, 2012 via mobile

Arrived and was greeted and seated quickly. Waiter even took the order and brought drinks with no problem. From there on everything went down hill. After a 40 min wait, where no waiter or waitress checked on my daughter and myself, we sat there with empty drink glasses and still no food. Three tables that arrived long after we were seated, received appetizers and entrees, including exactly what I had ordered. Our waiter avoided eye contact. So i went to speak to a manager. I asked for a particular manager and was told he was to busy, in a pretty rude and abrupt manner. During my wait we saw three groups of people come in and leave because they couldn't be seated and were never greeted.
I wanted this to be a good experience. I wish them much luck in retraining staff. The kids working were nice enough when we got there, just seemed to need work on structure and how to balance many tables at one time. They are letting people slip through the cracks, and letting money to be made walk out the door.

“Fun place to dine”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

Came on Halloween and all the staff was in costume. Had a good crawfish dinner with pecan pie. They even gave us a trick or treat bag with candy. Cute touch. We would go back.

“Great gumbo, friendly restaurant”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

Ended up here after asking a policeman where was a good local place to eat!
We were on a Cajun tasting mission, and hadn't tried jambalaya as yet, so we ordered one to share, but fancied our favourite gumbo too. The chicken and sausage gumbo was delightful, the seafood jambalaya was fine. Maybe that is us though.
Service was good, coffee (community) was good. Bought a bottle of their garlic sauce to take home too.
Would definitely return and recommend to friends.
