If you want to go back in time to the start of Mardi Gras in the Ark-La-Tex the Mardi Gras Museum is a great place to start. The largest collection of Mardi Gras costumes and memorabilia in all of North Louisiana. A must for every tourist.

“How do they Make that?!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

It is amazing to me to see all of the time, energy, design, talent and love that goes into each facet of Mardi Gras. The preservation of items now should inspire all who take the time to visit this museum , as well as, others around the state or states.

“Very Interesting place. Must see”

Mardi Gras Museum - Krew of Gemini, Bossier City, Louisiana.

Very interesting place. Opened just a couple of years ago. It keeps all the regalia of previous year’s carnivals. Lots of beautiful costumes. The attendant was very clear in his explanations of the history of the Krew of Gemini (started 1989) and their charity work during the year. Also a very good recommendation to go to Stubbs Hardware store to get the King Cake and other LA souvenirs. All the help very much appreciated since it was our first visit to the city.

All the very best for the parade on Saturday
