Booked a reservation for Diamond Jacks 2 1/2 months in advance for my anniversary we had a confirmation but 2 days before we were supposed to leave I get a call that they do not have a room that my booking agent overbooked the hotel. I called the booking agent this was not true the called them and they were told the moved their VIP customers to the top of this list and then they go by date of reservation. I was not the only one this happened too. Poor Management resolution....now I have no reservation and this has ruined my anniversary surprise. This really is messed up...

Stayed at RV park at Diamondjacks. If you enjoy trains like we do you'll enjoy seeing and hearing them go by. They are not so noisy after 9pm. Not a large park but room for big rigs, and dog friendly. Nice level spots with a few trees, and very clean. Right next door to casino.

room looked like it was remodeled in 1995
outdated TV
blood stains on the bed
rude staff
paid 130 dollars a night room looks like it was worth 30 dollars
the entire facility felt dirty...
If you decide to eat at the buffet in the <lol>RESORT<lol> don't
its 25 dollars a plate took 20 for a drink to arrive at the table...the food taste
as if it was sitting for HOURS...dry,bland and tasteless we just left..the casino was OK
we won a couple hundred dollars ...that was the only good thing about the entire experience ...
don't waste your money..go to the casino
run away from the hotel and restaurant

Room Tip: find another place to sleep..cardboard box under the interstate will be cleaner

My daughter and I stayed here years ago when it was Isle of Capri. We checked in and the bellman was excellent, as was the desk clerk. That is where the service ended. the first room we were assigned was a joke. It had two beds, one of which was probably there since the opening of the hotel. It was lumpy and had a hard ridge around the sides. The comforter was so mis-shapen and lumpy, it looked like someone was still in the bed. We laughed at how awful it was. We were moved to another room and this one also had the lumpy comforters, but at least the mattresses weren't broken. The room certainly showed its age. All the original furniture was there from Isle of Capri, including the dated t.v. and curtains. The t.v. that was in the sitting area and the bathroom have been removed, but the t.v. stand was still there. In the morning we were awakened by the cleaning staff in the hallway, yelling and talking to each other and banging doors, slamming around. We were not the only people annoyed by this. As we were checking out, many others were voicing their complaints about the noise in the hallways. Overall, I'd have to say, stay somewhere else. The casino was also in poor shape. The overall appearance was dirty. The staff was plentiful, but not particularly busy. The slot machines were sticky, the spaces between the machines were dirty. It was not very busy for a Saturday night, so am assuming everyone but us got the word not to go there.

Stayed in RV park for three days, sites were ok with level spots and grass. Staff very friendly showers ok. Casino was very small, steak house was good and buffet average but very expensive. Rv park was next to train tracts but kind of neat watching train going about 5 mph on bridge going across Red river. Rv park with in walking distance of hotel and good location to interstate 10

We stayed on night at this hotel and chose it due to its location to where we were attending a concert at the CenturyLink Center. We were located on the 7th floor and did not have any noise disturbance. The hotel needs updated in a major way. Still the same décor as when they were the Isle of Capri. Same drapes, wallpaper, etc. There was peeling paint around the tub in the bathroom and the cigarette stains on most all countertops/furniture even though we were in a non-smoking room.

Bed was so-so. Very small pillows! Comforter was lumpy but warm. AC worked great (yes we needed AC in January!)

Not many choices for eating in casino lobby. The buffet is there and we did eat breakfast there. It was very good although not a great number of choices on the buffet. We came in late at night from a concert and wanted a bite to eat and only thing open was one small café. Very slow service and the wait in line was at least 30 minutes just to place our order.

We will probably choose another location in the future as we have stayed at a couple of other casinos in town and definitely prefer the other locations to Diamond Jacks.

Beware. This is a high priced garbage pit. Was in rm. 955 but called front desk as room selled of mold, bed was lumpy. room was decorated in a 1960 theme. Rm. had a jacuzzi tub and shower but only one bath towel, wash cloth and step towel for for the rm. There was two of us in the rm. Desk moved us to rm. 950. Same condition but only worse as desk had no light to which to work under, table lamp only had one bulb to illuminate the entire 1/2 section of the rm. Same towel arrangement as the rm. 955. Called desk AGAIN for more towels and about a small thin comfortor on the bed. The bed itself was worn out as when you sat on the edge your burttocks hit the box springs. Bed has three child like pillows and a sofa pillow. Will NEVER stay there again. Over priced, terrible rm conditions, staff have a DO NOT CARE attitude. Breakfast buffet had three items to choose from for $11.99 per person. Thank God for McDonalds $1.00 breakfast menu. Spa was inoperative at time of our stay, pool was closed.

Room Tip: Best tip to offer is stay FAR AWAY from Diamond Jacks in Bossier City, La.
