Enjoyed our stay at this property. Nice spacious rooms and close to everything we were doing on this weekend. We travel to Baton Rouge a couple of times a year and are already planning our trips for next year.

When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly face, but he was a bit stressed because the cable tv had gone out in the hotel and he was trying to tend to it. He was very professional in how he handled us, other guests and the phone with the cable company. we went to the bar and experienced a very nice experience with the bar tender. it was late and not many people but it was very relaxing. the room was beautiful and the breakfast was absolutely the best breakfast i have experienced in a Best Western. the biscuits were wonderful and grits! i love grits..great stay, thanks, Baton Rouge Best Western Plus!

Tracy,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent stay with us and for the 5 star review. I am so pleased to hear that you were always greeted by our friendly staff and that you enjoyed the spacious room and ambiance. I am also glad to hear that you enjoyed the large variety of our hot buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, the cable, internet, and phones had an area wide outage, so thank you for being patient with us during that time. We understand how important those things are both for us to operate efficiently and for our guest's use. We hope to see you again the next time you travel to the Baton Rouge area.

This was our first time staying at a Best Western and we were very happy. The lobby and breakfast area was very nice and offered free water, newspaper and h'orderves during happy hour. The breakfast was amazing with sausage, biscuits, grits, gravy, and hot oatmeal with all the toppings. They even have a tiny little gift shop in the lobby with snacks and drinks. The rooms are very nice with a big size bathroom. There is a washer and dryer to do laundry, it takes only quarters, 1.50$ for the washer and 1$ for the dryer, the front desk can give you change. The free wifi was slow. The work out room was really nice and we also enjoyed the hot tub at night. Do not use the in room dining service. It is not affiliated with the hotel and the quality of food was poor.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent stay with us and for the 5 star review. I am so glad that you enjoyed the ambiance in our lobby and grounds and were able to enjoy all of the wonderful amenities, such as the complimentary hot buffet breakfast, nightly hors d'oeuvres, laundry facilities, and outdoor pool area. We have received several comments on our internet recently and have solved the problem by running new underground cabling. Thank you for the information on the in room dining option. We normally have wonderful feedback and I will look into this immediately. They do offer a 100% guarantee, so if you are unhappy for any reason, they will correct it. We hope to see you again soon.

No information on 2nd floor not having elevator for luggage. The Check-in staff seemed to not be concerned or offer any options. We tried to make a reservation at Residence Inn but the hotel was booked for this date. We were trying this hotel as a future option being a Best Western Rewards Member.

Mark,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent stay with us. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. All of our hotel information is online and does not indicate or state that we have an elevator. We try to accommodate any special requests to be on the first floor if we can the day of arrival. I am happy to let you know that we have been listening to our guests preferences and comments and we are currently working with contractors to get elevators for our room buildings. It is a huge undertaking and I hope that you will be patient with us as we proceed with this project. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to exceed your expectations the next time you are traveling to Baton Rouge.

I often travel to Baton Rouge for work and stay a night or two at whatever hotel Priceline puts me in. This time it was Best Western Plus, and it was an enjoyable stay. The rooms were a little old, but the large furniture felt less like a hotel and more like a resort. The staff was welcoming and the lobby finger snacks was a nice little touch. Breakfast was plenty, even if it was a little walk from the room but I didn't mind. Overall it was a good experience and I could stay there again.

Room Tip: If you're not big on walking, I found building E was close enough.

So convenient - right off the freeway. Clean and comfortable with a great pool, hot tub and basketball court! Nightly snacks are included in the lounge. We really enjoyed staying here as a family. We got a room right outside the pool area with access from our back door.

We came for an LSU event and found this suite. 2 queen beds, a full kitchen, and a separate living area. For the price, I could not be happier, granite in the bathroom, wonderful tub and shower, 3 sinks, 2 tv s, a fireplace, etc. my only complaints are: a horrible hair dryer unit from the 70s or 80's. The room had been updated, don't know why they used that. It didn't dry my hair and got so hot! It burned my hand. The other complaint was the maid took off with the bath mat and coffee cup and shorted us a towel. Also, the extra blanket was just thrown over a chair. Would I go back? Yes! The price was good and the free breakfast was excellent! They need to work on a couple of issues though.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent stay with us and for the 4 star review. I am pleased to hear that, overall, you and your guests had a good experience and value in our two queen bed suite. The extra room and kitchen really do come in handy for multiple travelers. I am disappointed to hear that housekeeping did not replenish your room amenities and will review this with our executive housekeeper and her team. As we continue to renovate and update throughout the hotel, the blow dryers you mentioned are on the list to remove. In the interim, however, we have added an extra and more modern blow dryer in the closet of those rooms. We hope to see you again the next time you come to the Baton Rouge area.
