Stopped and picked up my muffaletta on the way from the airport on a visit to Baton Rouge. Good stuff and friendly service. A little pricey but worth it 2 or 3 times a year.

Anthony's has the best Muffuletta, and I grew up in New Orleans on Central Grocery's and Frank's muffolettas. The meatball and Italian po-boys are also amazing! I must try!

Get a muffuletta to share. So good. Kids love the pizza poboy. Don't hesitate because its in a strange location. It's outlasted all the businesses in the strip that used to be busy. Very friendly, personable owner's family! Feels like you belong there!

Having grownup in New Orleans on muffalettas from Central Grocery Store, I thought I knew what a fantastic muffaletta was. However, I was WRONG!!!! Anthony's muffalettas are the best I've come across. It's always a treat to go there as the food is great, atmosphere is friendly, and Marco couldn't be more accommodating.

It's a hole in the wall, hard to find, hidden off Florida ave/bl. Find it, seek it out, GPS it. Very authentic. Amazing meatball sub and Italian deli sandwich. A little pricy, but it equals the quality and quantity. There is authentic Italian in Baton Rouge and its been here since 1972. Friendly owner who talked to us. We will be trying it again next time for spaghetti and meatballs. They have daily specials too. Call. Small interior with a few tables. It's like eating in a deli with hand written notes and maps on the walls and Italian groceries for sale on the shelves.
