The food was delicious. Every bite was better than the last. The service was great, I have ZERO complaints about this restaurant.

Love the fried seafood, service is good, comfortable ambiance, a great place especially for lunch. I ioften order the Caesar Salad with Fried Oysters, which I think is a perfect Louisiana version of the classic dish. The more complex dishes on the menu (beyond fried dishes) are fine but this place is really best for fried seafood.

The "Black & Bleu Tuna" is the BEST tuna dish EVER !! Blackened tuna, cooked to your liking (I like mine bruised on the grill), topped with big crumbles of Bleu Cheese and set on top of a mound of spaghetti bathed in a magnificent and RICH creamy Blue Cheese dressing. If you like tuna and if you like Blue Cheese, this is the dish for you ! It is to die for !
ALso, the appetizer, grilled Oysters Bienville is scrumptious !!!
I've dined there at least 20 times, and 20 times I've had the Tuna !!...and 20 times it was wonderful !!...and it's even better the next day (the portion is so big, I always have leftovers).

This place isn't on the water, but once you're inside it's easy to imagine that it is. Our server wasn't the sharpest tool, but did her job. The beer menu is good, the chargrilled oysters are great, the po' boys are worth the trip. We enjoyed the food here more than a lot of what we had in New Orleans.

Out on business, wife at home, had the chance to re-visit Parrains. Had not been there in 3 years or so. Happy hour was nice in the bar, oysters and shrimp. Then settled into seafood dinner. Service was a bit slow, but the place was packed. Good quality seafood, convenient to nearby hotels. All in all, worth a go if you are passing through B.R.
