“Excellent Accommodations and Casino”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

Beautiful secluded Resort Casino. Serene setting overlooking the Mississippi River. Rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and very modern. Loved the TV in the mirror over the sink in the bathroom. Excellent restaurants and buffet. Roof top pool is super. Service was great. Fresh coffee in the morning by the elevator and cookies in the afternoon. Had such a great time, did not even mind leaving some $ in the casino! Will definitely be back!

I can't review the hotel since I didn't stay here yet I did play in the casino for a while and ate the buffet. First of all the staff was very nice. They greeted me everywhere I went and all seemed to be happy. The casino floor was not too smokey and had a great amount of slots and tables. The dealers were all great and genuinely wanted the players to win. After playing for only a few minutes I was asked if I wanted a drink. I was promptly brought a free beer and water. After playing for a while I went to eat at the buffet. It was only $20 and was great. There were a number of fresh items, local Louisiana fare and of course your normal buffet staples. There are only two main places to eat, the buffet and a sports bar. There are also a number of bars and a small cafe. The hotel and grounds were very well kept and the place still felt very new. Keep in mind I was there on a Tuesday from about 6 - 8:30 so it wasn't busy. Overall though it was a nice surprise after hearing a lot of negative feedback over the years regarding the Casinos in Louisiana. This one is not the casino of old.

Was recently in town for the Gator-LSU game, and had a great stay at L'Auberge. Very modern rooms. Everything is brand new! Restaurants and Casino equal to Vegas, just on smaller scale. Make sure to enjoy the Roof top pool and bar. I'll be back

We went to Baton Rouge for a Football Game and some un-winding. We stayed at L'Auberge and we were not disappointed. The hotel was beautifully designed and very modern. I loved the room size, layout, and interior design. The casino was nice, and I loved the roof top with pool and bar. The service was terrific from the time we arrived until we left. This included several trips to the stadium club for dinner and the breakfast buffet. When I asked one of the associates if she could put my corn beef hash (form the buffet line) on the grill to make it a little more well done? She smiled and said I'll call you when it's done, go start on the rest of your breakfast so it doesn’t get cold.
I will definitely be back.

I just spent 2 days L'Auberge and would 100% return. The hotel does a lot of the little things (from the automatic comped breakfast, to the walk up complimentary beer bar while playing in the casino) to make the experience great. All the staff is was very nice and helpful. The food at both the sports bar and steak house was a 10. I highly recommend checking it out.

I just spent my first weekend at this property and walked away thoroughly impressed. First the service levels were amazing - it put many other casinos (in prominent places like Vegas, and AC) to shame...The rooms are great -- have some cool features like TV's in the bathroom mirror, but most importantly a comfortable bed. Restaurants were great - highly recommend the breakfast buffet which had excellent bacon, hash, and country fried steak. The sports bar was fun, good drinks, and classic bar food -- not to be outshined by the home done BBQ, and eggplant roll. The casino is relatively small (in a good way) with good tables, fair minimums, and a wide array of games. They also have beer/wine stations spread throughout the casino if you don't want to wait for a waitress at the game. When you want to wind down, or get some sun the roof top pool is the place to be - view of the river, high end furnishings, a full bar, and infinity like pool. Can't wait to go back!
