“Gem of A Find”
Reviewed January 21, 2005

We just happen to be traveling on the interstate when we saw the sign, "Rural Life Museum". We took the exit and went... We have told everyone we know about this museum. It not only is a museum but a replica of a small settlement, containing slave quarters and 2-3 original houses transported in from other areas... The museum is spectacular... Everything you could imagine... Old carriage drawn funeral carriages, spinning wheels, all sorts of farming tools, medical equipment, etc.

I could go on and on... This a MUST SEE... The grounds are maintained by LSU... It's G-R-E-A-T!
