Good night sleep in clean hotel. Priced right. Lobby bar till 11PM.
Nothing more to say. Easy on/off I10- plenty of restaurants (albeit chains) in the area. Breakfast was decent, staff was friendly and attentive.

The DoubleTree Baton Rouge is one of THE places to stay when your travel takes you to Baton Rouge. The rooms resemble what many hotels call a "junior suite" with a half wall between the sitting area and the sleeping area. With easy access to both the I-10 corridor and the LSU campus, the DoubleTree is excellently situated. Rooms are new with excellent electronic accomodations. The HD TVs have a great selection of HD channels including half a dozen sports channels. Each room has a microwave and mini-fridge. The breakfast buffet includes an omelet station. In addition to the restaurant, each evening you can also choose from several restaurants within walking distance (all on sidewalks) of the hotel.

We were very happy here. Check in was easy- (thank you, Airiana and manager) my requests were attended to, room clean and UPDATED, food was delicious. Breakfast staff was top notch.
Thank you. Finally, a Hilton that is keeping up with the times.

Room Tip: You will be good anywhere in the hotel.

On Constitution Ave. (southside frontage road) off the College Drive exit from the I-10, the hotel is at the east end of the road, easy to find by day but because of lighting issues somewhat more difficult in the evening--be especially careful on the exit to the property. The location is beyond the I-10 construction area, and so interstate access to the government offices, LSU, and the surrounding shopping area is unimpeded. The room was well appointed and clean, but neither the air conditioner nor the coffee maker was working. The manager immediately sent the engineer to correct matters. The front desk, housekeeping staff, and restaurant staff were outstanding. Breakfast was good, but expensive. The public areas are attractive and comfortable.

We stayed here during the LSU family weekend and liked it. Centrally located, friendly personnel and modern rooms that were clean and in very good shape. The breakfast was nothing overly special, but it was absolutely sufficient and we would stay in this hotel again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room that is not facing the highway. Despite good windows, you can hear it in the night...

Recently spent three nights at this hotel. Entire facility looks brand new (probably is). Everything was clean, staff was friendly / helpful. Honestly nothing to complain about the hotel itself. Great location for stores, restaurants, etc. A few minutes drive from the LSU campus.

The ONLY beef with this hotel is the access. The hotel is literally feet away from the Interstate. Noise wasn't an issue, but getting onto and out of the frontage road where the hotel is located was especially complicated. Getting to the hotel from the frontage road requires a good eye and a little luck. Leaving the hotel and getting back to the nearby business drag required turning the opposite direction and then a U-Turn a few blocks down the street. Speaking as an urban planner; this street configuration is very unique (and irritating).

Despite the access challenge, this hotel is good.....very good. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms facing away from the interstate are likely quieter.

Stayed here while visiting friends in Baton Rouge. The room was large, wifi worked well and the bed was very comfy. Front desk personnel were very helpful. Nice to have a gym to workout in.
Location was perfect for restaurants, shopping, LSU, etc.

Room Tip: The king bedroom with sofa bed gave extra sitting area.
