LSU has a beautiful campus in Baton Rouge. Most of the buildings have great character and there are a number of open spaces under the oaks to spend a few moments.

They have made some changes since 1977. I like the way they have made it easier to navigate. If you are a freshman think you would enjoy the setup better.

My daughter and I were attending our first LSU home game and were excited to check out the campus. We could not find any parking 7 hours before game time, so drove back to the hotel and took an Uber. The campus was beautiful. We walked around for a couple hours to see Mike the Tiger Habitat, campus bookstore, lots of tailgaters, the stadium and all the wonderful scenery. It was fantastic. If you are in the area for vacation or for a game it is definitely worth a stroll through campus. The architecture really did justice to old and new Louisiana.

If you’re visiting the beautiful campus of LSU you have to go see Mike, the mascot for LSU. LSU is the only university in the country to have a live mascot. It’s fun to watch him play and walk around the habit. He’s got a lot of personality for sure!

Beautiful campus with many old and gorgeous oak trees. Really nice campus to walk around. An interesting mix of old and new architecture. Be sure to visit Mike the Tiger's habitat,

I firstly went to the Visitor Center and the young lady who I spoke to was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. She explained how the parking system worked as well as highlighting different areas to see, including Mike the Tiger. I managed to see all the areas that she highlighted and spent more than 3 hours there. Would be an awesome way for a prospective student to see.

LSU is a beautiful place to walk or drive thru. Tiger Stadium is the main attraction to campus. Across the street is Mike the tiger’s home. You can up close to a very large, live tiger. The campus is loaded with beautiful live oaks, and nice buildings. A wide variety of food surrounds the campus, in walking distance!

Take an hour or two and drive around the campus. I saw some nice walking trails around the lake but it was raining. This campus is extensive so it takes about an hour to drive around. Went on a Friday afternoon in the summer so not crowded with students.

My daughter and I really enjoyed the tour given by students at LSU. It was a quite beautiful campus and I like the university setting and the dorms.
