Went with a friend to visit a student. Love the university. Some of the building have been renovated and I can't wait to see it completed. The price of tuition is reasonable.

Visiting Baton Rouge on the weekend, we enjoyed driving through the campus one afternoon. The buildings are lovely architectural sights. The arena and stadium were also interesting sights. The most fun was a quick visit to see Mike, the tiger. LSU has built a new habitat for their mascot -- very nice. Mike was out during our afternoon visit, but he was not active. I guess it was time for his afternoon nap. The area had dozens of other tourists out to see Mike as well as his statue near the habitat. Don't miss the photo op. We appreciated the opportunity to walk the campus for a few minutes and enjoy the beautiful day.

Such a cool place to visit and take in all the sights. Go and walk around a little and you will see what I mean.

Very friendly staff in the buildings. A typical large university. Hard to find parking on campus. Easy to get to but much traffic getting there so allow time.

We were able to attend a gymnastics meet on campus and it was amazing! So much energy! Campus is beautiful and the students were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was parking was very hard to find on your own. Public parking was hard to find and not marked well. That being said, go back to the comment of the friendliness of the student... Just ask and they will help:)
