We went here on the recommendation of my son. I wanted to try everything on the menu but choose from the brunch menu. I had ham and cheese omlet, cheese grits, and biscuit. Those were the best cheese grits I have ever had. My husband had the fried pork chop topped with poached egg and white gravy. It was so good! Poboys and gumbo looked really good. Can't wait to go back. Lots of TV's so everyone was watching football.

We go to the Chimes East often for drinks, they have a great beer selection. We bring our out of town guests for their first taste of alligator, it's delicious blackened.

We've always enjoyed the food at Chimes East, especially their onion rings which are not greasy at all. Their crawfish salad, veggie sandwich, shrimp po'boy and salmon sandwiches are also great.

Service has always been very good, but it is an extremely noisy place. Anyone with a hearing problem will have difficulty here due to the loud noise.

Chimes is one of the most popular restaurants in Baton Rouge. They have a huge menu selection and the food is good. This isn't the one in the heart of LSU's campus, but it's just as good in my opinion.
