We drove into town during a rain storm so we appreciated that this hotel was easy to find. We had tried to book using the hotel web site en route but were unsuccessful so went through another site. The check-in process took awhile as the desk clerk tried to run our credit card. She said it was slow going through and asked us to check back later, which we did, and she said it went through OK. When we checked out in the morning I asked for a receipt. That clerk told us that the night clerk should not have tried to run our card, that it had not gone through because it had already been charged to the company handling the reservation. She said the other clerk was new and that she would let her know the proper procedures for such transactions. As far as the hotel goes, it was a great place to stay. The bed was perfect, the room was large with modern furnishings and everything was spotless. The location was close to many eating choices and shopping. The complimentary breakfast had a huge variety-- eggs, waffles, bagels, sweet rolls, fresh fruit, cold cereal, hot oatmeal, yogurt, etc. Everything was very tasty. You can't ask for anything more than this hotel has to offer. It ranks an A-plus in my book.

We found the Somerset Best Western to be very clean and the staff friendly. The location was great. Very close to restaurants and shopping. We were there over the 4th of July. The fire works at the Splash Park were awesome.

When we booked, we knew it was in the middle of town which made our stay convenient. Everyone on staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The pool was nice but when the signs said "pool and spa," we were expecting just that. No spa. So the kids swam and I watched.
The breakfast was good but the breakfast area was a little cramped. I know the hotel was full this weekend but we had to take ours back to our room because there was no place to sit. And the waffle iron seemed to malfunctioning both mornings which was sort of big deal for a few of us. Oh, and breakfast hours of 6AM until 9:30AM, in my opinion, are not well thought out. For those of us coming off of central time and adjusting to eastern time, it isn't that convenient. That hour does make a difference. 7AM until 10AM would be much better but who I am to tell a hotel when to serve breakfast.
All in all, we had a good stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and there were a few problems, but none that couldn't be fixed. Food wouldn't stay hot because breakers kept kicking off... but they heated it up in the microwave for us. Refridgerator kept freezing our drinks. to which the maintenance crew fixed as soon as we reported it. Our floor had a really bad odor from smoke. but thankfully in Dec. it will be a smoke free facility. .This is a great change. The staff was very nice. Vickie went out of her way to help us and made our stay fun. She is a hoot. Thank you Vickie, and don't let the pool overflow anymore. lol. Great place to stay and we will be staying here every time we are in town.

Very friendly staff, delivered extra towels etc without any hassle. Georgia was very nice and interacted with my son who has a difficult time meeting new people and adjusting to new places. Georgia made him feel welcomed and he enjoyed looking for her during breakfast and talking with her each morning. Breakfast was delicious and the entire hotel was very clean. The only downside was the pool was an inside pool and was not heated which made the water very cold for swimming even in July.

Booked online through Orbitz to get a cheaper rate. Arrived early evening and had a very quick, efficient check in. Seem to be very customer service oriented. When I asked about possible dining options for the night, I was not only given lots of information but even offered a coupon to the Texas Roadhouse if we decided to go there. The common areas were clean. Our room was comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable as well. Pantene shampoo / conditioner. Large shower head and plenty of warm water. Rooms had microwaves and nice size fridge. The only slight downside I noticed was a slightly strange smell in our non-smoking room. It wasn't smoke. I'm not sure what it was and it wasn't bad enough to be noticeable after you were in the room for a few minutes. We just noticed it when entering the room. The breakfast the next morning was good. Plenty of choices and a nice large seating area. Quick check out. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. Dining across the parking lot that you can walk to if you don't feel like driving anywhere- Ruby Tuesdays.

We stopped by without reservation, the price seemed high, but in the end was well worth it. Everyone is extremely nice from the minute we checked in to the second we checked out! The pillows are amazingly comfortable, the rooms are clean and the hotel is located in the center of everything. Definitely returning to this hotel!
