OMG...we had the best time ever!! This weekend getaway was full of porch swings, zip lining, rock climbing, fishing, and lazy nights by the bonfire and smores provided by the lodge. The lodge and staff were "top of the line". I have traveled extensively, and this place is at the top of my list! Where do you find spectacular views, clean rooms, and "down home" hospitality all wrapped up with adventure and peacefulness....only at Cliffview. Don't miss this hidden treasure!!

My brother and I stayed one night at the Cliffview Resort while on a motorcycle ride to the mountains The room was clean and the balcony was a great way to relax after long ride. The host was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back in the next couple of months. My sister had stayed a few months before and highly recommended it to me.
My family and I stayed here recently for just one night but wished it could have been longer. It was a wonderful place to spend the night; quiet and peaceful, clean and comfortable—what’s not to like? The folks running the lodge as well as the other guests were very friendly and accommodating, and the feel is more like staying in someone’s home than a hotel. The rooms are clean, bright and spacious and actually nicer than they look in the online photos. They all open onto a large wrap-around balcony with a scenic view; it’s a very peaceful spot, complete with hammocks if you really want to chill. We enjoyed the unique common area as well; they have a full kitchen where you can cook your own food if you like, so in addition to the continental breakfast provided by the lodge, there is usually other food being cooked and passed around; it’s a very homey and informal atmosphere. (“Hey, want to try some hash browns? There’s OJ in the fridge—help yourself!”)
The surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty of outdoor adventure: hiking, zip lines, rock climbing, you name it. Take the sky lift to the top of Natural Bridges Park, it’s quite entertaining. Plan to spend several days here, as there is much to see and do.
In all, we loved this area, and would especially recommend the lodge as a place to stay. It’s the best of both worlds: the amenities of a hotel, with all the comforts of home.
