“This Hotel needs to be Shut Down!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2012

La Quinta should take their name off of this place, it was horrible. Everything needs updated, at least cleaned properly. There was dog hair everywhere, even on the bedding. The room was filled with cigarette smoke, loose tiles in the bathroom, stains in the bathtub, on the ceiling. The little shampoo was used, the towels in the bathroom looked used... they were partially folded. I will never stay at this hotel again, unless forced by the military again :p. My advice about this hotel is NEVER STAY HERE! La Quinta really needs to consider taking their name off of this hotel or close it down so it can be "up to code" and remodeled.

Room Tip: Just don't stay here until these problems are fixed, find another hotel. I stayed in room 302.

Checked in on the 19th of March for a break from driving, I am a frequent flyer at La Quinta due to my travel with pets. This place was the worst La Quinta I have ever stayed at, the entire place was in need of repair, cleaning and maintenance. Started with trash piled up at each entrance, towels and trash in the hallways. Horrible musty odor in the stairwells. Then get to the room, dust all over everything including an old TV with a layer of dust on the screen, holes in all the sheets, which also did not fit the beds. Bedding old and worn out, multiple holes and stains in it. Door lock has to be forced open and shut. Bathroom was simply disgusting, ring of dirt in the tub, filthy on the outside of the tub, shower curtain moldy. Dead bugs on the window sills, dangerous AC plug and vent. La Quinta should take it's name off this place or close it down for a remodel.

Room Tip: Stay away from this place.

This hotel was very economical for the quality and services provided. It is right beside I75 and a Cracker Barrel. Cookies and fruit are available in the lobby daily and the breakfast was good. The room was modern, bright, spacious and clean. This hotel is a real gem.

2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2011

We often travel with our dog and are big fans of the La Quinta chain. Hotels are usually clean, beds are very comfortable, and the price is affordable. Unfortunately, this La Quinta is in need of renovation. The beds were horrible--lumpy, worn out, and just uncomfortable. The sheets had stains. The staff was friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a good night's sleep, this hotel, in its current state, is not for you.

Room Tip: Not off the lobby

My husband and I stopped at La Quinta on our way home from Florida. We found it through the hotel discount booklet that you can pick up at the Welcome Rest stop as you enter Kentucky. It is located just off I75 in Richmond Kentucky. We were impressed - clean, frig, microwave. The breakfast was very good and was offered complementary. For the price it was an excellent choice.

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2011

Clean, convenient, modern, everything nice .... as long as you are in non smoking building. Other building is divided and drifting smoke enters non smoking rooms. We also found cigarette burns in beadspread.

Breakfast good but needs many more tables.
