This is our first try at traveling with a pet. We usually stay at Quality or La Quinta's, but the pet fees are a little pricey and our Golden Retriever is +7 lbs past their limits. RR's let one "Well behaved" pet stay free. So we tried it. This hotel is a popular stop for travelers, as it was packed, and I am glad I booked ahead of time. The positives: Fast check in, no problems with room keys, inside entry to your room; elevator that actually worked; an average, but decent continental breakfast, including pretty good coffee; comfy king bed in room 109, ice machines and concessions on each floor; coin laundry facility on 3rd floor. The negatives: That 3rd floor laundry facility consists of a 6 x 12 teeny room with a washer and dryer. This teeny room has been overlooked by maintenance and cleaning crew FOR A LONG LONG TIME. The floor has lint balls and Bounce sheets everywhere. Thick dust, dirt and grime are built up behind the washer and dryer; The washer inside has been abused, but maybe if it were cleaned regularly, it would be more appealing to use. I used it for my dog's towels we lay on the back seat. The washer takes approximately 25 minutes to complete its' cycle, so there is plenty of time to roll your eyes around the landscape, since there is nothing else to do. The dryer has coins stuck in the squirrel cage inside the dryer. It is noisy. Period. Once the dryer fires up, it is almost impossible to stay in there. I took note of the third floor soda machine and snack machine not in working order. Overall, the hotel needs a professional carpet cleaner, and a merry maid type cleaning crew to deep clean each room. Facility maintenance is in order, to repair broken tiles throughout, as well as noisy doors, etc.Like I said, you get what you pay for. One night, approximately $50 plus tax.

Room Tip: The first floor is the ideal. No elevator, nor wait to get to your room. The third floor, is the worst, really warm hallways, due to heat rising.

Booked an overnight stay while traveling with our small pet dog. Chose RR because of no additional fee for pets and favorable reviews. Not disappointed at all because for a budget hotel it was quite nice. New carpeting and very comfortable king bed. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay and a very nice breakfast in the morning. Again, a nice touch for a budget hotel. Paid $45 plus tax for their best king room.

We made our reaervations over thw phone, big mistake. We usually stay a few more exits down at a very clean and nice Red Roof Inn. This was neither. Our carpet and furniture were very stained, we had a trickle of a shower and we were awaken this morning to a crew digging up the parking lot at 7:00 a.m. We feel since we checked in late, they should have told us upon check-in. Terrible place. I complained to the manager this morning and he told me others had complained, I did not need to. He also said he was unaware of the constriction, the " owner had not informed" him. When we pulled in late, the workers trucks were full of equiptment and in the parking lot. He knew. Just keep driving is our advice. If you are travelling with pets, there is a nice Jamison at the next exit South. If you are going North, there are pleanty of options too.

I had booked this on Hotel.ca and was worried because in the past booking, without seeing the hotel didnt turn out so well.
But the hotel room was very clean, and spacious. The beds were clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were amazing, anything we needed we went to the front desk and they were always willing to help in any way they could. It also included a breakfast in the morning which was quite good. We would definetely stay at this hotel again!

The rooms are a bit dated, and our room had a nasty smoker smell that we couldn't get rid of. The day shift staff was always friendly and willing to help. The night shift at times had friends hanging around the lobby which was a bit odd. Overall you get what you pay for and this worked for our event. I would recommend for a quick stay if someone was passing through. Not sure I could stay a week for a vacation.
