The service is great and so is the location. The room is fairly clean and the bed is surprisingly comfortable.I always judge on friendliness, cleanliness and comfortable beds and this place met all three. Not the newest property and a little dated, but I would stay here again.

The hotel was reasonably priced and it appeared fairly nice from the lobby. All went down hill once we got in our room. The bed and linens were in poor condition. There were large stains on sides of mattress. Sheets were were thin, dingy with holes in them. Blanket had cigarette holes in it and looked old and disgusting. The towels were even worn and dingy. We found mouse droppings on the blanket and in the tub and around the perimeter of floor in bathroom. That's when we had seen enough. We got our things and requested a refund. This is too bad because we come to the area a few times a year and had hoped this little hotel would be a nice place to stay. We ended up at the Hampton Inn in Madisonville. It's further away then we wanted, but it was clean and fresh. It was a major improvement and only $20 more a night. Well worth the extra expense and drive.
