Loved this place! So much to see and so inspiring. This is a must see even for non-quilters. Anyone who appreciates art would love it.

“A must see for Quilters”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

I recently visited my brother in St. Louis. I checked a map and found that Paducah is only 200 miles from there. As a quilter it was a must for me to take a trip to the National Quilt Museum.
The museum is excellent! The volunteers who are there are very knowledgeable. All the quilts were beautiful. There were two special exhibits along with about 70 quilts from the permanent collection. Even if you aren't a quilter you will appreciate the "art" in these quilts.

“magnificent for a quilter, great for a non-quilter”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

I took my wife(who is a quilter) expecting to wait outside, however, anyone who appreciates any kind of beauty will certainly enjoy this museum, The wooden quilt is truly one of a kind. If you have any interest and near Paducah, its well worth a stop.

“Keep Your hands in your pockets”

The quilts are so beautiful you will want to touch each and every one of them. But, refrain yourself and just enjoy the awesome beauty. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, gave us almost a private tour. AMAZING.

We truly enjoyed our visit to this museum. The creativity of the artists and complexities and beautiful colors of the quilts is quite impressive. Definitely worth a visit!
