“WHAT AN ARTISTIC TREASURE”
Reviewed November 5, 2013

We certainly have seen many murals in the past but the shear number and quality of the artwork in something to behold. What a great way of bringing life to dull concrete walls. Wonderful.

“A "MUST SEE"!!”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

Incredible artists depict Paducah's history ... a must see! 3 - 4 blocks long ... well worth your time to see .... you can walk or drive by ... we recommend walking ... you can see more of the detail.

“No one should skip this free attraction/family friendly!”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

I have been to Paducah several times and always enjoy the artwork on the floodwalls. Each time I seem to notice (or remember) a different “favorite.”

This functional attraction is open 24/7. If time is tight, you can take a quick stroll early on a Sunday morning before anything else is opened. You can also view them at night as they are lit.

When I was there most recently, the paint on some of them was being refreshed – it’s great that they always look fresh and bright.

You could walk by all of them and take a brief look in 10 minutes. Drive by if it’s raining, or take a more leisurely stroll to enjoy the interesting details and read the historic plaques for each one.

Walk behind the flood walls and take a look at the 2 rivers converging. Sit down on a picnic bench and enjoy lunch or a snack.

Nice big free lot across the street. Nice public restroom (always clean when I’ve been there.)

Even if you are just passing through town on business, they are fun to see. Grab a cookie from the nearby bakery (or get some ice cream) and enjoy this free walk through Paducah’s past.

“Beautiful Floodwall Murals!!”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

I have seen several wall murals and murals on the sides of buildings throughout the US, but the Floodwall Murals in Paducah, KY are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. They are a must see if you are passing through and have the time!

“Very interesting”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Murals were very interesting and unusual. Worth the drive or walk by. Close to downtown with lots of little shops.
