“Our food was OK but not remarkable.”
Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

We ate out on the sidewalk, and that was very pleasant. Everyone working there seemed happy we were there, very friendly, and anxious to help.

I had meatloaf and it was interesting but drier than I like. My husband had catfish which was more like whitefish than catfish and was breaded in a tasty but hard flour crust. The tartar sauce was interesting but would have been better had it been more normal.

All in all, we had an OK time and an OK meal but we will try somewhere else next time we are in Paducah.

“A Must Visit”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Recently renovated inside and menus. This is an old historic building, with lots of neat history. The recent renovation has been well done to update what was starting to look dated and still leave the beauty of this old building in tact. The menu has something for everyone and the food is very good to real good. Nice place for a cozy dinner for two or for a group of friends after work. Oh, and don't for get to ask them about the ghost.

“Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

We tried the Sunday brunch with friends and it was quite tasty. Tried to at least try everything on the buffett but I failed. Made to order omelets were good and the bacon was better than most. There were a couple of other dishes that were quite good but I'm not sure what they were called. If you have a sweet tooth they have that covered as well. The coffee was good, served with real cream. They also had a good selection of fruit.

“Shandies Perfect Restaurant Great Food & Atmosphere”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

Good menu selection with some unique choices includding Morrocan flavors. You will also find the tried and true selections of Steak, fish and chicken. In other words something for everyone. This restaurant is in an Historical building in Downtown Paducah. Lots of windows for good views of street activity. Has upstairs seating for large groups if needed. Cocktails available indoors or out on cobblestone sidewalk seating. We were with family group of 5. All ate different meals and everyone said food was very good. We were present during Saturday After Dinner festivities so could see the vintage cars and street activity well.
